Avery has been blessed with the most loving aunts and uncles who love spending time with her! For Christmas this past year, Uncle Andy and Auntie Jenna have Avery her very first pair of cowgirl boots!!! Midsummer they finally fit and they haven't come off since!! She wears them to play outside, to dance and jump inside and thinks they look the best accompanied with a pink tutu and her duck call!
Yesterday Avery finally got to wear her boots for their intended purpose - on the farm! Avery was so so so excited to go on a Horsie ride that she could not for the life of her take a nap. She was ready to go and once we got there she meant business... She didn't want to pet the horses, watch them, feed them or talk to us- she wanted to hop up there and go!
"Gitty up Dusty" she said, and they were off! ;) Jenna walked Dusty around the arena once and Avery said "I go more!"
We made a few laps, then she decide to hop down and walk around looking at all of the other horses, tractors, big bails of hay etc. She was soaking it all in! She fed Dusty some hay for a treat and then it was time to go! This part did not go over very well... She was not ready to leave, she had 11 more horses to ride!!! Jenna told her that she could come back again soon, and we were able to get her in the truck! This morning she was talking about it right when she woke up and made sure to tell her friends about it at breakfast too!!
