Grandma Vicki and Grandpa Dave got a new puppy this weekend! After recently losing their seven year old dog, Nugent to cancer they decided the house was too quiet and too empty so they got an adorable puppy to help make their house feel like home again.
We went to visit him the very next morning, and he still didn't have a name. Avery decided to call him Popcorn! As cute as that is, there was no way that my Dad could go hunting with a dog named Popcorn. They decided to name him Benelli after the kind of gun he has. We call him Benny for short and Benny Popcorn Okerstrom when he's in trouble!
We got to puppy sit on Sunday for a few hours at our house! Avery played dress up with him, took him to the park, chased him, snuggled him, and taught him how to be a puppy. She showed him how to "ruff ruff" and how to wiggle his tail!
I think she's in love...
