Right before dinner tonight, Avery asked me if we could "wrost mash mellows on bone fire." I told her she would have to ask Daddy if he could make a fire to do that when he got home from work...
And as soon as she heard that garage door open she ran to the door and before Brandon was even out of the car she was yelling "daddy, daddy, daddy you ppllleeeeaaaaaassseee make us a fire for some mash mellows?" He looked at me to make sure it was ok and then told her "after dinner."
We gobbled up our dinner quickly and headed right out! It was a beautiful evening for a fire! And although we didn't have any graham crackers to make s'mores, we did have some chocolate chip cookies and we improvised!
Of course, a Bonfire is not as fun with out friends, so we had to invite some of our bests!! Ashley and Harper came right over and we had a blast! The girls roasted marshmallows, ran around outside, lit sparklers and were just being silly!! These two are going to be such good friends, just like their Mommies!!
