We went to visit Grandma at work today!
Since we have a few days off this week and it's just me and Avery at home with no plans and nothing urgent to get done we decided last minute to go visit Grandma at work before we went grocery shopping since it is right down the road!! Avery had so much fun handing Grandma envelopes to sort, she was able to scan a package in and take a ride in the mail cart! Then grandma handed her the keys for the mail truck! She couldn't wait to hop in and "drive".
Right before we left, avery asked for a pair of blue gloves to match Grandma. And of course, Grandma knew right where to find a pair! Avery loves them! She wore them to Target, to Cub and all the way home! She says "Grandma has some, Dr. Grinde has some, Dr. Libby has some... Avery has some!" I snuck them off before taking her to bed for a nap, but she has been wearing them around the house all night!!
